This is one of those vehicles i would actually want the 4.3L v6 in, with just a little bit of tune. And maybe a 2 inch lift, AT/MT tires, a radio, and a shell on. Would make a killer beater truck.

Nah, I'd want the V8 for the extra towing and sound. Plus it's just fun to say......small block V8 *mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm*......It's just such a nice phrase that rolls off the tongue well.

I JUST CAN'T :(

1. Too big(I hate big cars); I'm not even comfortable or confident driving a van!

2. Too high(I hate sitting tall in vehicles, for the same reasons above)

3. I don't feel confident driving a truck.

4. I have no space at my house for a truck in the driveway

5. I have no use for a truck and it's bed.

It would just be all around BAD for me to be in a truck.

I had a 2002 Silverado in all black, tinted out, and with straight pipes my old job gave me to use as my work truck. I miss that thing. VAGUEST SHIFTER EVER.

You want to own an old porsche? You're going to want a parts hauler. You want to live in a snow state? You'll enjoy the extra ground clearance and 4x4 when you yank your friends out of snow banks and ditches for 20$ a piece. You want to have a race car? You'll need a tow truck. When shit hits the fan in your life? This car is FAR more likely to still keep running than any other vehicle you've looked at. This thing will do half a million miles easy.

Give trucks a try. You might come to grow fond of them. Or at least understand how good they are as tools and use them to further your porsche ambitions.
